Mirian Gladis's story

Mirian was born in the city of Calca where she still lives. She is 47, married and has two children. She divides her time between taking care of her home and running a coffee shop at the university in Calca. Her work hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. She has been in business for several years now and it has done well. In her free time, Mirian sells corn and lima beans and also makes food. Mirian is requesting a loan to buy goods such as rice, sugar, pasta and vegetables. She is a member of the communal bank "Virgen de Asunta de Calca" which is comprised of 15 members who live in Calca, in the province of Calca and department of Cusco, Perú.
