A loan of $600 helped to buy more merchandise such as milk, water, soft drinks, cookies, eggs, oil, salt, rice, beans, soup pasta, canned food, toilet paper, etc.

Angelica's story

Although she is very young, Angélica is an entrepreneurial woman. She is 19 years old and married to Andrés. The couple have two children: 2-year-old Zuriel and 8-month-old Osiel. Angélica has a small grocery store which she has been running for five months.

Angélica tells us that she decided to start out in this business as she wanted to provide for her children and offer them a good quality of life. She also wanted to enjoy better financial solvency. She will invest the loan that she received in buying more merchandise such as milk, water, soft drinks, cookies, eggs, oil, salt, rice, beans, soap, soup pasta, canned chilis, toilet paper, etc. These are the products she sells most of.

Angélica's goal is to grow her business much more. What she would really like is to expand her premises a little more so that she can have a larger grocery store and thereby offer a better selection of products and improve her income.

Angélica thanks Fundación Realidad and Kiva lenders for trusting in her and supporting her.
