Caacupe Poty 1 Group's story

The women who belong to this group are from the town of Caacupé. They are very happy with the support they receive from Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva. They are expanding their small businesses and increasing their income which provides them with a better standard of living.

One of the members is Sra. Virginia who is a seamstress. Because of this difficult job she has been able to help her family get ahead and cover household costs. She calls herself a simple, honest, and hardworking woman who wishes to continue growing her business so she can help her family. Virginia is seeking a loan to buy fabric, buttons, zippers, and other supplies so she can fulfill her customers’ orders.
