Norma's story

Norma belongs to the ”Qori Orcco" communal bank, located in the district of Urcos, in Quispicanchis province, in Cusco department. She is 35, and lives with her partner. She has 4 children, ages 16, 15, 9, and 6. She has a retail business, where she buys and sells small animals such as guinea pigs, roosters, and hens. She takes them to the city of Puerto Maldonado in crates to sell. On this occasion, she wishes to use the loan to buy a total of 80 hens a month. She buys weekly. She buys 40 to 60 hens a week. She will also buy 160 guinea pigs. She is applying for the loan in order to buy guinea pigs and hens. She is thankful for the loan and promises to make her instalment payments in accordance with the loan schedule.
