A loan of $1,125 helped to buy groceries.

Gladiz Maruja's story

Gladiz, the mother of a son, is a member of Pampachacra Communal Bank. She has been a member of Finca Peru for 14 years. Gladiz works selling tara [a tree native to Peru], cochineal, and groceries in Pampachacra.

She is very grateful for the help they offer with seed money. They help so women are able to get ahead, investing well in their businesses. In her communal bank she learned how to work. She managed to buy herself a plot of land in Mollepata. The instruction helps her to be able to assess herself.

Everything that is done in FINCA helped her to be able to have a good family.

With the loan she is getting now she will invest in buying groceries.
