Sop Cheikh Darou Assane Group's story

The solidarity group Sop Cheikh Darou Assane was created on March 29th 2008, and is made up of eight women who maintain excellent relationships between themselves. The fattening [of livestock] and small business are their main occupations.

The borrower, Codou, is 41 years old. She is a married mother of five children and has one dependent; she dedicates herself to the raising and fattening of sheep, and has excelled in the latter for a long time with a good track record.
