A loan of $1,975 helped a member to buy summer outfits to sell later.

Emprendedoras Group's story

Thirteen women from the city of Santaní bonded together with hopes of getting ahead and helping their children and relatives. Most of them are the heads of their families, very hard working and fighters who make self sacrifices every day. They see in the communal bank program a great opportunity to progress and to help one another.

One of the members is Zonia, who, thanks to the sales from clothing, has been able to get ahead and help to provide the household expenses. She comments that she is doing well in her business and that she always has good clothes. Her dream is to be able to continue growing and to become a successful merchant.

She is asking for a loan in order to buy summer outfits, as the warm season is approaching and she wants to stock up.
