The group "La Paz" came about as the result of a number of neighbors in Cuidad del Este getting together. They are very hardworking women who have a strong desire to get ahead. At this time, the group has 17 members who are in their 10th loan cycle in the Enterprising Women program of Fundación Paraguaya. They are all working together so that they can get ahead.

One of the members is Juana, who has a business selling food. She tells us that thanks to her work she has been able to support her family and provide them with assistance. She comments that thanks to the good flavor of her food she has been able to establish a good customer base, and in this way, get ahead. She requests a loan to buy meat, bread products, vegetables and other supplies that she needs in order to make the food that she sells. She thanks the Fundacion for giving her this opportunity.

La Paz surgió gracias a la unión de varias vecinas de Ciudad del Este, ellas son mujeres muy trabajadoras y con muchas ganas de salir adelante. Actualmente el grupo se encuentra con 17 integrantes, quienes están en el décimo ciclo del programa de mujeres emprendedoras de la fundación paraguaya. Todas ellas trabajan juntas para poder salir adelante.
Una de las miembros es la señora Juana, quien se dedica a la venta de comestibles. Nos cuenta que gracias a su trabajo ella ha podido mantener a su familia y ayudarlos. Comenta que gracias a la buena sazón que tiene ha podido formarse una buena clientela y de esa forma salir adelante.
Ella solicita el crédito para la compra de carnes, panificados, hortalizas y demás insumos necesarios para la elaboración de los alimentos que vende. agradece a la fundación por la oportunidad que esta le da.
