Mujeres Emprendedoras 2 Group's story

This group in the city of Encarnación formed because of contact by one of its members with the Fundación,. The group is in its fourteenth loan cycle and has been working with the Fundación since 2007. All are very hardworking and enterprising women and they have demonstrated this in every cycle.

One of the members of the group is Sra. Elvira. She has three children and lives with Sr. Aldo, who is employed by an herbalist. She has done embroidery work for several years. She notes that with her work she can help support the family by sharing household expenses with her husband. She is requesting a loan to purchase thread and needles for the embroidery she does, since these are indispensable supplies for her business.
