A loan of $1,275 helped a member to buy piglets to raise.

San Francisco De Asis Group's story

The San Francisco de Asis Group was formed by several neighbors in the city of Ybycui that decided to unite. They are hardworking and very enterprising women who joined together in order to help one another to support their families.

One of the women in the group is Mirtha, who works raising animals such as pigs. She tells us that her work requires a great deal of sacrifice, as she always has to look out for her animals and make sure they have everything they need. Despite this, she enjoys what she does because it is a decent job.

She is requesting this loan for the purchase of piglets to raise and later sell. She is grateful to Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the opportunity provided to her.

In this group: Lorenza Antonia, Mirtha, Maria, Ana, Dora, Maria, Adelicia, Maria, Maria, Aquilina
