A loan of $2,775 helped a member to buy clothing to sell.

Barrio Florida Group's story

This group from the city of Encarnación arose through the contact of one of the members with the Foundation. Now the group is in its fifth loan cycle and has been working with the Foundation since 2010. All the women have independent business activities as well as activities in their group to promote good fellowship.

One of the members of the group is Señora Nancy. She has three children. Her partner is Sr. Omar. She comments that she has worked for several years selling clothing, which has gone very well for her, since she always has a great variety of items, which attracts more customers. She says that she wants to continue growing, and this is why she is applying for the loan, since she wants to buy summer clothing so that she will be stocked for the coming season. She is thankful to the foundation and to Kiva for giving them the opportunity to progress.

In this group: Adolfina, Severiana , Mariana , Olga , Mirian , Nancy , Norma , Maria , Rosa , Juana , Nidia
