Confianza Group's story

The Communal Bank “Confianza” (Trust) has already worked with Emprender for eight loan cycles. The women are neighbors from the District of Kupini. The president is Sra. María, who produces skirts and shawls for women and then delivers these products to stores and vending stands in different markets in the city of La Paz. She delivers her goods based on her orders and also sells them at retail. María is married and has two daughters who are studying. Her husband is a salaried employee who works at a private institution.

Sra. María needs a loan in order to buy fabrics and thread for making skirts and shawls. She is a hardworking individual who wants to see her children become professionals. María also wants to grow in her business and expand her product market in the cities of Oruro and Cochabamba.
