Juhudi Group's story

Macho, is in his late thirties, is married and has five children. He has been selling eggs and poultry for seven years now. He works from 6am to 6pm and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Macho’s second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to increase the number of chickens in his poultry business and has paid back his loan successfully. He hopes for a loan to buy chicks. Macho’s dream is to one day be an international businessman.

Macho will share this loan with his loan group, "Juhudi," which has a total of 16 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
