A loan of $750 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Angela's story

Ángela, 23, lives with Teodosio, 30; they have a two-year-old son, Henry, who she loves and wants a good future for.

Ángela has worked hard for seven years. During that time she worked in farming on a small parcel that only sufficed to feed her family. Today, she has a grocery store where she’s earning good economic profits. Of course, since she now has two lines of work that can generate extra income aside from her main source of income which is the grocery store.

She came to the idea of her business and knew that she’d attain it as long as she took on the work firmly and this is why she always strives to have the store full of products so that her customers will feel satisfied with the products she provides. In general, she works on her own but sometimes her spouse helps her out and her sales point is located at home. Her plan for the future is to increase her products to improve her family’s and her potential customers’ quality of life.

This will be MFP loan #3 and she commits to continue making her respective payments like she’s done in past opportunities. She feels grateful toward her communal bank for the good organizational climate it has.

She will use the 2000 new soles to buy larger amounts of merchandise to stock her grocery store sure of capturing a wider clientele and increasing her sales margin.
