A loan of $825 helped to buy ground chili, corn kernels and others.

Filomena's story

Filomena has three children and lives in the Alto Pampahasi zone located thirty minutes from the center of the city in her parents’ house. She sells ground chili, cooked corn kernels, dehydrated potato and soaked dehydrated potato and others like eggs and cheese. She has a stand in the local market where she goes to sell every day.

Her older children are school aged and the youngest one stays with her at her sales stand. Filomena hopes to save up enough to buy her own house some day.

On this occasion, Filomena requests the loan of money to increase her working capital. She will buy chili, corn kernels and dehydrated potatoes at wholesale to warehouse and gradually take it out to cook and soak for subsequent resale. Filomena is very hardworking and feels grateful toward the institution for the support provided.
