Annet's story

Annet is a 39-year-old businesswoman who lives in Juba. She is married and has 3 children between the ages of 4 and 14, all of whom go to school.

Annet runs a food store, and she has been in the business for 7 years. She has one employee. Annet heard about Finance Sudan through her fellow clients and outreach and promotion done by the loan officers. She is requesting a loan of SDG 2500 to purchase more food items, such as sacks of maize and many others. Aside from this business, Annet has no other source of income.

In 5 years' time, Annet hopes to see her store expand. Her major challenges include school fees, home expenses, and the high cost of living in Juba.

Annet says that she is happy for Finance Sudan’s support, especially for women.
