A loan of $1,575 helped a member purchase blankets, sheets, and other products to be sold.

Guarani - Ka’Aguy Group's story

The committee, "Guarani-Ka'aguy" was created by several female neighbors in the city of Santaní. All of the members partake in independent activities but they also have some that they do together with the intention of helping not only themselves but also their families. They have formed a very united and capable group that have strengthened their friendship through the accomplishment of projects together.

One of the members is Francisca, who is a vendor of blankets, sheets, pots, and other products. She comments that she sacrifices a lot for her job since she needs to cover long distances in order to sell her products. However, she tells us that she is very proud of what she does since it's a dignified and honorable job. She is seeking a loan from this foundation and from Kiva so that she may purchase sheets, blankets, and other products in order to have more variety to offer to her clients.
