Goorgoorlu Group's story

Goorgoorlu Group was formed in solidarity on July 9, 2002. It consists of 15 women who live in the same neighborhood. Their primary business is shopkeeping.

Madam Maguette who is on the left of the photo raising her hand is responsible for the group. She is 55 years old. She is married and mother to three children. She also takes care of 10 other children entrusted to her by her parents.

She actively sells breakfast. She has good experience in this domain, where she has been working for several years.

This loan will allow her to strengthen her capital and to better develop her business.

The profits will allow her to improve her family's living conditions (health, nutrition, clothing, etc.) and to increase her savings.
