Djimountenor Group's story

This solidarity group was created July 9, 2002. It consists of five women who live in the same neighborhood. Their main activity is retail trade.

Madame Georgette (who is raising her hand at the left of the picture) is responsible for the group. She is 61 years old, married with seven children. She also takes care of two other children entrusted to her by their parents.

She is active in selling oysters, palm oil, brooms, beignets (fritters) and peanut paste. She has good experience in this area of activity, which she has exercised for several years.

This loan will bolster her capital and help her to further develop her activities.

Profits will enable her to improve family living conditions (health, food, clothing, etc.), and increase her savings.
