Foulbe 2 Group's story

The group was formed when the local village credit association was established. It is made up of 31 women who are driven by their close solidarity. They sell crops and food for a living.

Madame Hary (sitting third from the left, covered in a black scarf with white dots) is the group leader. She is 54 years old, married and has three children. She purchases foodstuffs such as palm oil and peanut paste etc in her local area that she sells in the capital city. This new loan will enable her to boost her business. The profits she generates will enable her to see to her family's needs (clothes, health, schooling and food).
