This groups is called “Las Emprendedoras” (The Lady Entrepreneurs) and is located in the city of Itá, thanks to the fact that the director, Epifania, who contacted the advisor from “Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras” (Committee of Entrepreneurial Women) at a weekly meeting, about the program. She was able to get 16 women who work comfortably together. They’re already in their second cycle in the program.

Epifania tells us that she sells vegetables in large quantity. Thanks to this work, she’s been able to help her family and provide them with a dignified life, free from deprivations like the ones she had to deal with. One of her goals is to have her own shop from where she can sell her products.

She is asking for this loan to buy tomatoes, jocotes, onions and other types of vegetables to stock up.

Las emprendedoras se denomina el buen grupo de mujeres conformado en la ciudad de Itá, gracias a que la actual Directora, la Sra. Epifania contactó con la asesora en una reunión semanal que la misma tenía en la zona, para informarse de la forma de trabajo que tiene el Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras,una vez asesorada acerca del Programa logró juntar a 16 mujeres quienes se encuentran trabajando muy a gusto ya en el 2° ciclo,en forma conjunta y solidaria dentro sel programa.
Epifania nos cuenta que se dedica a la venta de verduras de gran variedad. Gracias a este trabajo ella ha podido ayudar a su familia y darles de esa forma una vida digna y decorosa, sin privaciones como las que ella tuvo que atravesar. Dentro de sus metas está tener un local propio donde vender sus productos.
