A loan of $375 helped to pay for the paperwork to obtain her driver's license and nursing license.

Romina's story

Romina, 24, is a young, hard-working woman. She lives in the company of her mother, Norma; her father, Oscar; and her three brothers, who she loves very much. They live in their own house in the locality of Tambo. Romina is an exemplary young woman who performs various jobs each day. In the morning, she works in a drugstore where she tends to people with different ailments. She does this from Monday to Friday, which are very busy days since at midday she takes advantage of her good location in front of a school to sell delicious kebabs of chicken or lamb's heart, which only she knows how to make.

Since she is still studying nursing at night, Romina has to cover expenses for her studies and some for her family. For this reason, she provides transportation to the public, as a taxi driver. She does this job on weekends and earns good money doing so. She is also one of the few women who does this type of work. Her next goal is to study psychology and she is optimistic that she will achieve it.

This is Romina's second loan through Microfinanzas Prisma and she feels happy about it because it has taught her the value of responsibility, which she has demonstrated with her punctual loan repayments. When Romina receives this loan she will use the requested money to pay for the paperwork to obtain her driver's license. She will also get her nursing license soon and she will need some money for that too.
