Kwame Nkuruma Group's story

Delfina, who is in her late 30s, is married with two children who are still going to school. She has been running two businesses, poultry and charcoal sales, for three years now. She works from 8.00am to 6.00 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This will be her 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy chicken feeds, started selling charcoal and household expenses. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She wants a loan to buy more chicks and more sacks of charcoal . Her dream is to one day be able to expand her businesses. She will share this loan with her loan group "Kwame Nkuruma" which has a total of 18 members who will hold each other accountant able for paying back their loans.
