A loan of $1,725 helped to purchase cattle.

Gulzat's story

Gulzat is 44 years old, divorced and has five children. Gulzat works as territory hospital laboratory nurse. Unfortunately, Gulzat's wages are not enough to cover all of her family, so in 2009 she decided to start a business in the breeding of lovestock. Using startup capital amounting to only 4,000 Som (KGS), Gulzat was able to develop her household in the number of one cow, five sheep and one calf.

For the further development of her business, Gulzat contacted Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan in the amount of 80,000 Som (KGS) to purchase additional livestock. Gulzat plans to invest her revenues to further increase the number of livestock and, in the future, to make home repairs.
