A loan of $825 helped to purchase more beans, maize, and groundnut seeds to plant.

Karaveri's story

It's been eight years of unwavering diligence for 52-year-old Karaveri, a father of six, as he goes about his food sales trade in the Bushenyi food market in the West of Uganda. At the food market he sells foods such as beans, maize, groundnuts, and cassava. He harvests most of the foods he sells from his farms. Karaveri says he earns about UGX, 200,000 monthly. He says he will bank on this loan to purchase more beans, maize, and groundnut seeds to plant.
