Torees Group's story

Catherine, who is in her late 30's, is married with one child who is still a baby. Catherine has been running a tailoring business for 15 years now. She works from 8.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to buy another sewing machine and take care of her family and has paid back her loan successfully. She wants a loan to buy materials and make more women's clothes. Her dream is to one day be able to open a tailoring school.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Torees group" which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
