Celsa's story

Introducing Celsa, a member of “SAYHUA 3”, a communal bank located in the Urubamba district, in the Urubamba province and in the Cusco department.

Celsa is 47 years old, she lives with her life partner and she has 3 children. She alternates her daily chores with her retailing activity, selling chickens and fish in the Urubamba market; she also breeds and sells livestock such as “cuyes” (“cuy” is Quechua for Guinea pig), chickens and pigs. Thanks to this activity she can provide for her children. Her dream is to own a shop where to sell chickens and fish. She is requesting a loan to buy chickens and fish at wholesale price, as well as to buy animal feed for her animals.

She is happy about the loan and she commits to complying with the repayment of her dues.
