A loan of $575 helped to buy women's and children's clothing to fulfill orders from her customers.

Diana Luz's story

Diana Luz, 32 years old, lives southwest of the city with her husband and their 2 children, aged 7 and 12. She operates a business selling varied merchandise which she buys from her brother-in-law and comes from Panama City. Diana Luz also sells, using specialized guides, feminine accessories and things for the home, plus clothing and varied articles from periodicals, that preferably, come with important discounts, which her customers always take advantage of, because Diana Luz always lets them know opportunely.

Diana Luz's idea for her enterprise dates from the year 2007, when she took out a loan and bought a little merchandise and gradually reinvested the capital loaned. She increased her profits each time, which allowed her to pay off the loan and gain more growth.

Diana Luz's desire is to expand her micro-enterprise, and to do so requires a source of loans, with which to buy more merchandise to sell. This is the reason she is approaching 'credikiva' with her 1st loan through the Fundacion Mario Santo Domingo. She will purchase feminine and children's clothing requested by her customers who want to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas among family dressed very elegantly in clothing Diana Luz provides on credit, and they pay for little by little.

Her biggest challenge is to acquire her own house and she dreams of that, and in the future, of providing a quality higher education for her children.
