Ermila's story

This member belongs to communal bank "Señor del Calvario" ("Lord of the Calvary"), which is located in the district of Calca, province of Cusco, department of Cusco. The member is Ermila. She is 40 years old and single. She has four children, two of which are independent and the others are 10 and 3 years old. The member owns a restaurant where she serves various stews from that region. She is a very cheerful and hardworking woman, which is why she stands out in all of her endeavours. On this occasion she wants the loan in order to purchase wholesale goods such as sacks of rice, cans of olive oil, potatoes, meats and other foodstuffs that are used in her restaurant on a daily basis. The member keeps her restaurant clean and organized, and also oversees the orders. Although it is still a small restaurant, she wishes to make progress and provide it with the quality of a first rate restaurant. She wakes up every day with a lot of drive to keep on expanding, because she knows that all of her efforts will pay off and go towards the well-being of her children and her family. The member requests the loan in order to purchase goods for her restaurant such as sacks of rice, cans of olive oil, noodles, etc. She gives thanks for the loan and pledges to make her repayments according to the schedule.
