Nalangu, a married woman with five children who depend on her, has been farming for a period of seven years, growing maize and selling part of each harvest to earn income.

Having learned about KADET through other women in the area, Nalangu is currently applying for her third loan in order to buy farm supplies such as wheat seeds and fertilizers and to hire labor for the farm. In the long term she hopes to grow a variety of crops and improve the living standard of her family.
