A loan of $2,150 helped to purchase livestock.

Meyli's story

Meyli is 51 years old, married, and has brought up five children. Meyli works as a librarian at a local school. In search of an additional source of funds for her family, Meyli started her livestock breeding business, using an initial sum of 4,000 som (KGS). Because of her hard work and persistence, Meyli was able to expand the farm, which now includes 3 cows, 35 sheep and 2 horses, and brings in about 10,000 som (KGS) from sales of dairy and meat products.

In order to further expand her business, Meyli has asked Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of sheep and stallions. In the near future, Meyli plans to invest her profits in additional heads of livestock.
