A loan of $975 helped to buy clothes and shoes.

Suhey Del Socorro's story

Suhey, 33, lives in the city of Granada. She’s a single mother of a three-year-old son. She’s a merchant. She sells clothes and shoes and has been in business three years. She started out with this activity with help from her mother who supported her when she became pregnant and needed to have a business that would make it possible for her to earn income to raise her small son. It was then that she went to sell clothes and shoes in the market with her mother and this is how she earns her and her family’s daily food.

She requests the loan to buy clothes and shoes to sell during the Christmas season when customer abundance is very constant during this time of the year and she does not want to waste this opportunity to sell because one of her goals is to manage to buy a house so that her son will have a proper roof over his head.
