A loan of $1,200 helped to buy merchandise for her grocery store.

Virginia's story

Virginia is a 41 year old client. She is in a common-law marriage, and she has two children. She is a humble and hard-working woman who is dedicated to her family.

She found out about the services that Fundación Mujer offers from another client. It seemed like a good idea to her. By selling chicken, soft drinks, and sweets she started to generate her own income.

She now sees the need to invest in her grocery store because she does not have any competition in her community. That is why she is requesting a loan for the first time from the Fundación.

She has support from her family in the decisions she makes with respect to her business. She has goals to meet, and with the help in her business she will be able to achieve them.
