A loan of $575 helped to buy sacks of fertilizer.

Liberato's story

Liberato, 53, is a responsible man. He lives alone in his own house in the Anexo de Churampi. He does different types of work. He is now working in construction in his town where he's paid when the job is finished. But when he doesn’t have any other income, he farms, the work that he was taught when he was a child. He mostly plants potatoes, peas, and corn which he tends very carefully. He tells us that his last crop was very good and that is why he is sure that the new one will be better.
He also raises animals such as bulls and hens. He fattens them up and then sells them for a higher price. Now he is planning on buying more fields for planting.
He belongs to the united group “New Generation” and this is his third loan with MFP. He feels strongly that his business is supported since he will receive the financial help that he needs to achieve his goals. He promises to be punctual with his payments. Liberato will use the money to buy natural fertilizers to spread among the corn plants.
