A loan of $550 helped purchase raw materials to make cereals.

Juan Marcos's story

Señor Marcos has been making cereal for a living for seven years now. Previously, he worked in a factory where he made the same products. He learned this process, then he became self-employed, and started his own business four years ago, making his sales at the local markets. He currently lives with his uncle in the town of El Paso. He also lives with his wife and three school age children, who also work with him to make his products. He is requesting a loan to buy raw materials wholesale since the prices go up rapidly at the end of the year. He urgently needs to stock up on raw materials to avoid the affect of the rising prices for supplies to make cereals.
