A loan of $500 helped to buy blouses, skirts, shirts, pants, and underwear.

Mercedes Del Carmen's story

Mercedes sells clothes. She lives with her family - her parents, her husband, and their son. She began her business selling clothes with the support of her parents who are business people. She travels to sell her goods and doesn't have a fixed timetable, but she is well know in the market.
She needs to buy clothes for men as well as for women, and so she is requesting a loan to buy blouses, skirts, shirts, pants, and underwear, all to improve the service and attention she gives her customers and enabling her to improve and grow her business in the market.
Her ambition is to develop her place in the market, be successful in her business, manage her loans well, and support her family.
