A loan of $2,400 helped a member to buy more clothes for resale.

Kwayedza Group's story

This is 57-year-old Entineth from Machipisa, a high-density surbub in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. She is a single mother of two children.

Entineth runs a business of selling clothes that she buys from local shops as well as from Zambia. The business has been in operation for three years. She says the main challenges she faces are low business activity due the mid-month and competition from established shops.

Entineth has requested a loan of $400 to buy clothes for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the welfare of her family.

In the future Entineth plans to be operating a big and well-stocked clothing shop in the city center.
