A loan of $2,400 helped a member to buy clothes from across the borders for resale.

Adonias Group's story

This is 29-year-old Sarah from Machipisa, Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. She is married and has one child. She also cares for three dependents.

Sarah runs a clothing business. The business has been in operation for two years. She says the main challenges she faces are the duty charges at the border post.

Sarah has requested a loan of $400 to pay for duty and bus fare. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her living conditions as she is renting a one-room at present. In the future, Sarah plans to have a big space for selling her wares.
