Caroline's story

Caroline lives in Likoni area of the Coastal Province, Kenya. She is married and has two children. She sells clothes at the market stalls beyond the course way. Likoni has a huge number of low to middle class people.

Caroline began her business from her personal savings. She learned about Milango from her friends, decided to join and is applying for a loan of 20,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) to purchase more clothes. Her main challenge is inflation, which has raised the cost of many commodities.

Caroline’s future goals include building her own business premise. She will use the additional income from this loan to purchase school shoes for sale.
