Gurban lives in the village of Azizkendi in East Georgia. He is married and lives with his family: wife – Piala, 13-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. The children go to school.
Gurban is leading the agricultural business for his family, which is the main source of the income for the family. The family has 2 milk cows and 3 calves. Gurban produces cheese and sells it in the village to dairy products retailers. The family also has a greenhouse where cucumbers and tomatoes are grown. The harvested vegetables are sold locally to the retailers as well. The total average monthly income for the family is 1000 Laris.
Gurban requested credit to purchase an additional milk cow. The family will have 50% more milk for cheese production from this purchase. They will increase the sale of cheese and thus get more income, which will allow them to increase their spending and improve their family living conditions.
