Segundo works in agriculture, raising animals and working construction. He also plants corn, potatoes, beans, wheat, and peas. The land that he farms is his own, and he also has two milking cows.

He makes his purchases and sales in Guaranda. He is requesting a loan in order to plant corn and purchase various types of fertilizers.

With the help of the loan he hopes that his production will improve in order to obtain better earnings. His dream is to buy land in the coastal zone. The challenges that he faces are the presence of pests in the fields. He dreams of being able to go walking around, visiting family and friends and enjoying the festivities of the carnival and San Pedro.

With the help of the previous loan he was able to purchase fertilizers and seeds for planting. His relationship with his family has improved 100 percent. The work and income has increased for the benefit of the family.

Es integrante de la VRC VENTANAL se encuentra formada en la comunidad Guantuncoto, Parroquia Julio Moreno Cantón Guaranda, a una distancia de 30 minutos de la oficina Los habitantes de la Comunidad se dedican a diferentes actividades como son: agricultura, ganadería, crianza de animales (cerdos, pollos, ovejas) comercio y construcción.

Segundo se dedica a la agricultura, crianza de animales además trabaja en la construcción, tiene sembríos de maíz, papas, habas, trigo, arveja los terrenos en los que siembra son propios y 2 cabezas de ganado lechero.

Las compras y las ventas lo realiza en Guaranda. Solicita el crédito para poder sembrar maíz comprar abonos, fertilizantes, líquidos, urea y otros abonos .

Con la ayuda del préstamo espera que la producción mejore para obtener mejores utilidades.
El sueño es comprar terrenos en la zona de la costa. Los desafíos a los que se enfrenta es la presencia de plagas en los cultivos.
El sueño es poder pasear, visitar a familiares y amigos y disfrutar las festividades del carnava y San Pedro

Con la ayuda del prèstamo ANTERIOR pudo comprar los insumos para la siembra, las semillas, la relación con la familia ha mejorado en un 100 porciento, el trabajo y los ingresos han aumentado para el beneficio de la familia.

This loan is administered by Cooperativa San Jose, a 45,000-member credit union located high in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador’s poorest province, Bolivar. They offer a unique loan called “Ventanillas Rurales” [Window to the Countryside], which uses a group guarantee but is an individual loan with a savings component, mostly to rural borrowers. Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. This means that our Field Partners are able to post a borrower's second, third, etc., loan on Kiva without having to re-enter all of the borrower's information.

Most borrowers take out loans consecutively, meaning that they receive a second loan after having repaid the first.
