A loan of $1,050 helped to buy DVDs, VCDs, televisions and VCD players.

Ishmael's story

This is 35-year-old Ishmael. He is married and has one child aged five years old. He has one additional dependent who lives with him – his mother.
In 2002, Ishmael established a DVD and VCD disc business. He began his business to provide a livelihood and because he saw it would be profitable. Working seven days a week and twelve hours a day, he earns about 1,500,000 SLL every month from this business.
Ishmael would like a loan of 4,500,000 SLL. He has already received and successfully repaid his first loan and now requires a new loan in order to buy DVDs, VCDs, televisions and VCD players. He hopes that this loan will enable him to increase his monthly profits by approximately 300,000 SLL. In the future, Ishmael plans to transform his small shop into a larger one, to own a house and send his child to a very good private school. He thanks you for your support.
