Victoria's story

Victoria belongs to the "Reynita de Belen de Ccorao" communal bank, located in the district of Ccorao, in Calca province, in the department of Cusco.

She is 44, single, and has two children, ages eleven and nine. She buys and sells tarwi (lupin beans) in one of the markets in the city of Cusco. She sells 150 lb a week. She also sells cereal grains. She sells peeled wheat, barley, butter beans, lima beans, dried potatoes, potato flour, pinto beans, kidney beans, quinoa, barley flour, and other products.

She wants the loan to buy cereals and tarwi at wholesale, in order to increase her business. She is grateful for the loan, and promises to make payments in accordance with her loan schedule.
