A loan of $325 helped buy bread, rice, and other products.

Agbogbé's story

Agbogbé is a 24-year-old woman. She is married to a welder and has two children, both in school. The eldest is nine and the youngest is 5 years old.

Agbogbé works as a retail vendor of bread, rice, and spaghetti since 1998. She operates as an itinerant vendor, buying her bread from a bakery in the neighborhood and other products in Lome. The challenge she faces in the field is the competition.

Agbogbé requested her first loan from WAGES to purchase more goods; she wants to reinvest in her business activity.

In coming years, Agbogbé would like to expand her business. She said that the profits will allow her to participate in the children's education and enjoy a happy family.
