Norma's story

Norma is 48 years old. She is a hardworking, diligent woman, and happy and friendly. She married to Arturo who is a palm farmer. She lives with her husband and her 2 children who are 32 and 20 years old, and her 2 grandchildren who she loves very much, comfortably established in her own home.

Norma’s business is selling fruit juice, such as orange, pineapple, and grapefruit as well as others. Her business is located in the front of her house, with a table where she takes care of her clients in a friendly and warmhearted way through the morning until noon.

What she likes about her business is that it allows her time in the evenings to be at home, and to help her daughters care for her grandchildren. Also, seeing good profit of up to 50 percent of the investment. Therefore, she has plans to continue in the business and wants to be able to add to the tables and chairs, as well as to open a facility in her own home where she can assist her clients comfortably.

This will be her 4th loan with MFP, and therefore she is waiting for its approval in order to continue with her goals. Also, she says she feels good about the community bank because she considers the members to be good and trustworthy people.

With the amount requested of 2500 soles she will invest in her business buying fruit and with the remainder she will buy tables and chairs for the comfort of her clients.
