A loan of $1,200 helped to buy new clothing for Christmas sales and fabric to make uniforms.

Luis Alfonso's story

Luis, 38, is a merchant and father. He has two children, ages 20 and 10, both of whom are studying. His wife works helping him in the market. Originally he worked as a tailor. He makes pants, shirts, and uniforms, but the income was not very good. He decided to look for another form of work that would help him generate greater profits. When he turned 33 he invested in buying new clothing to sell. Since then he has seen that this business has turned out to be profitable, so much so that he works with his wife in the market to tend to this business. Now he combines his work as a merchant and tailor, since this is how his family survives. He needs the loan to buy fabric to make uniforms and to invest in new clothes to sell this Christmas season. One of his projects is making uniforms exclusively for schools and making his new-clothing sales grow.
