Luis Alberto's story

Señor Luis Alberto is a very hardworking and determined person. He is 36 years old, single and without children. He has a small grocery store which he has run for more than a year. He says that he decided to invest in this business looking for a way to offer his mother a quality life as her caregiver and also improve his financial solvency. He will invest the loan he received in buying more goods such as: oil, milk, rice, biscuits, water, soups, soft drinks, eggs, soap, etc., and thus have a better stocked store. One of Don Luis' (as he is known in the neighbourhood) goals for his business is to make it grow a lot as he is thinking of in the future expanding his locale a little more as he wants to set up a larger grocery store. In this way he will be able to have a large assortment of goods and improve and increase his income a lot. He gives Fundacion Realidad and the Kiva lenders his thanks for all the support and confidence they have provided him with, as this will help him a lot as he can now continue to invest in his business and secure his and his mother's future.
