Candido's story

Candido, age 39, is married to Josefina. They have three children; Mario, Roberto, and Jorge. The children go to school. The oldest is in his first year of high school, one is in the fifth year of elementary school, and the littlest one is in the second year of pre-school.

He has been a fisherman for two years. He says that he decided to start this good business because it is very profitable and gives him good income. His earnings help him to support his wife, to pay the household expenses, and to pay for his children’s education. They will also provide better financial solvency in order to have a better standard of living.

He will use the loan that he received to buy more working materials like cast nets, fishing line, and bait. Candido says that one of his goals for his business in to continue investing in it much more. His objective is to make it grow even more, andt he wants to set up a fish and seafood stand. That way he will improve and increase his income. He will continue saving in order to be able to assure his children of a professional career.

He is very grateful to the Fundación Realidad. Above all he is grateful for the trust and support that the lenders are giving him. He says that thanks to this help he now has a better business and a better quality of life.
