A loan of $2,800 helped a member to buy millet, groundnuts and other supplies.

Juboo Group's story

The Juboo solidarity group was set up after the opening of the banc villageois. The group has 15 women members, most of whom live in the same village.

Daba, standing on the right in the photo, is head of the group. She is 47 years old and married, with six children.

Her loan will allow her to develop her small business selling millet, oil and groundnuts. She has been working in this field of activity for many years, which has given her a lot of experience.

The profits from the business will allow her to increase her savings and improve her children's standard of living.

In this group: Daba, Tabaski, Fatou, Aissatou Seko, Fatou Yande, Mame Seynabou, Yande Diodio, Mane, Awa Ngor, Clemence, Mbosse, Coumba, Khemesse, Ramata, Rokhy
