The Goorgoorlu solidarity group was formed on July 22nd, 2003. It is made up of 13 women who all live in the same area and are all traders.

Fatoumata, standing on the right of the picture with her hand raised, is the group´s leader. She is 40 years old, married and the mother of 4 children. She is an experienced saleswoman who has sold broiler chickens (chickens raised specifically for meat production) for several years.

This loan will increase Fatoumata´s working capital and will allow her to buy some chicks and increase her business activity. She will use her profits to pay off her debts and build up her savings.

Le groupe de solidarité est créé le 22 JUILLET 2003. Il est composé de 13 femmes qui habitent le même quartier. Leur activité principale est le commerce.

Madame Fatoumata qui est à la droite de la photo levant la main est responsable de groupe. Elle est âgée de 40 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de quatre enfants.

Elle s’active dans la vente de poulets de chaire. Elle a une bonne expérience dans ce domaine d’activité, qu'elle pratique depuis plusieurs années.

Ce prêt lui permettra de renforcer son capital et de mieux développer ses activités.

Les profits lui permettront de payer ses dettes et d’augmenter ses épargnes.
